How I Tricked The Internet With This Fake Dating Rumour

I created a fake viral relationship rumour to see how easy it is to create fake gossip online! I went undercover and our first target was the KPOP community and more specifically Jackson Wang I reported fake news and rumours on him and other celebrities to see how easily I could trick their fans and catfish the internet without them having any idea!

Be careful with this kind of stuff, if you actually make a believable dating rumor about an idol with a dating ban they could get fired from their job, dating scandals in Korea aren’t the same as scandals here, they can ruin your life.

I could see how it would fail easily. I think picking taeyeon who is a huge celebrity in Korea is a bad move. Her schedule is pretty much transparent to her fans. Even if not, kpop stars have paid social media like bubble which they posted exclusive content there and that might be totally opposite with the rumours. So it is hard to trick fans. It might be easier to pick someone less famous or from China (since Jackson Wang are active in China and Chinese celebrities are less transparent to international fans comparing to Korean ones)

even if a rumor is proven 100% to be fake, it still will impact their career in Korea, some literally get kicked out of their company and lose their jobs, over fake rumors
