Hey, thank you for the great video. Explained each part so well. Just one question though, In the books and Oracle Documentation, 'nlsparam' is included as part of arguments list in TO_CHAR(datetime, 'fmt', 'nlsparam') - But in the examples you have shown, I only see the column/expression (sysdate) followed by the format mask. Is the nlsparam optional or is it an invisible argument? Thanks in advance :)

Hello. Nice explanation. One Query: when you are using TO_CHAR(empsalary, '$99, 999, 99') from Employee. How this digit is getting converted to the resultant salary number which is $50, 00.Kindly help

can you try with year as 1900 it will take 2000 year, can you give a conversion for the same, when date is 01/01/1900 to chat(19000101)..???

Can you convert the actual Colum using TO_DATE, all youtubers show just with strings. No one shows how an actual Colum value is converted.
