Although some may think these are too simple reading pretty much any of the online forums and such will reveal "how do I start" type questions.  Heck just read one asking about how to power it basic stuff after one plays around a bit.  So, element14 keep it up.  Good Job I say as a Getting Started series.

this is way too "beginner" in my opinion.  Most people who are going to be interested in the Pi are going to know how to drag and drop files.

Great tutorials but the audio is very distorted. It sounds like you have overloaded the mic input.
