Can I go to jail for 'eavesdropping'?

Under penal Code 632, "eavesdropping" can be prosecuted as a misdemeanor or a felony. As a misdemeanor, it carries up to a year in county jail. As a felony it carries up to 3 years in state prison.

YouTube, Facebook, etc... listen to us all the time! In fact they are listening to me right now which upsets me to no end...

To Be more clear -
just a little while ago this evening my Daughter came into my room [I paused my YouTube video I was watching at the time to listen to her]. She brought up an issue with friends & her saddness of loss [her best friend/boyfriend was killed recently] & as soon as she left my room, I got an ad on mental health dealing with loss of a loved one & who to contact for help!!!

To say the least, this made me mad & VERY concerned!
I thought eavesdropping was a crime in America?!?!

What are we going to do America??? I say ENOUGH!!!
