My husband was laid off & the EDD cheated him of about two & a half months of unemployment benefits.

The EDD told my husband to apply online, but nothing happened. He called & talked to a robot. Nobody called him back.

He went to the EDD in person two or three times. They had no explanation for why his claim was not processed. His claim just sat there for almost three months.

They refused to start his claim on the date he was laid off or applied. The EDD didn’t start paying his unemployment for almost three months.

Gavin Newsom’s EDD has cheated my husband before. They can’t seem to pay unemployment claims, but they have no problem taking taxes like my husband is their personal ATM machine.

This is elder abuse. My husband doesn’t know what to do or how to get the money they owe him. I always get the feeling that he is afraid of the state & federal government. He is afraid for some reason (his father was in the navy) & he allows the government to abuse him & take his money.

This was so eye-opening and necessary. I see how I misjudged Dr. Stein when I first caught her in social; but, in continuing to seek out the best candidate, and shedding biases, I am supporting Dr. Stein. It is totally unacceptable to restrict and outright discriminate against any serious, capable candidate, like, Dr. Stein. I have been researching her for some time now and find it am appallinh that the others will not debate with her, but I understand why they do what they do. All should have to debate in an adequate forum and format, with wide media publication and broadcast. The two party system is regressive, unintelligent, unsustainable, devolved, and played out! We need to have and know about candidates who align with our true interests at home and universally. Thank-you for this interview. 👊🏾👍🏾👏🏾🙏🏾🤎
