I LOVE inPhase. As someone who uses an oscilloscope on the daily professionally Waves couldn't have done a better job with this thing!

You generally don't get much bleed from a snare drum into the bass drum mic. On the other hand, there is always a lot of snare in the overheads.

In Studio-Situations that might work. But live you can´t really move tracks along. :)
You can delay them, especially on digital consoles, but InPhase gives you the great option to visually see the actual waveforms.

mainly OH are bused together and they are pretty much in phase with each other (if miced corectly) so you would need InPhase instance on OH bus and on snare bus (I assume that would be better if you want InPhase snare's top and bottom).
Kick mostly doesn't have that much phase problems, but you can experiment with it yourself. Like dude said - possibilities are endless.

There are no tracks in the live domain. This uses delay compensation "live" on the respective channel.

I have many waves plug-ins but I can't understand this one... why don't just zoom in the two tracks in the D and align the waveforms? wouldn't it give the same result?

The plug-in might help in some cases, but here... in inverted phase is so obvious that, in my oppinion, moving the wave is just wrong, Mr. Super-Engineer!

How exactly would you use inPhase on overheads to get them in phase with a snare? Would you have to use one instances of the plugin for each overhead? Why the snare and not the bass drum?

That's more like time alignment than phase alignment.

alighnment between top and bottom mic ?, triger the snare its better why allighn 2 mics that you put them to have that phase and time difference.Dont do that even in studio. There techniques we use to create an outcome, we dont time alighn channels unless they lost sync in transfer.

This case in particular... All you had to do is invert polarity, Even though this plug-in is great, moving the wave was wrong.
