*The cloud sucks. Local wired networked storage FTW!*

People nowadays LOVE giving away all their power, privacy and freedom. They love it so much that they even pay for it 💪😎

Scary stuff, my router blocks Google's ads, and now I can see why

I just use linux "pass". Simple file/directory based gpg encryption with git integration to a private repo. Can even sync to phone

Backing up to the cloud can be helpful (off-site storage). Just encrypt your stuff locally before uploading.

I manage my own passwords. I will never trust cloud anything.

I use an ad blocker whenever possible but that does not really work on Android which is why I pay for YouTube Premium, and the creators I watch still get money while I get no ads.

It's easier to lose a device that has all your information on it, then it is for them to once in several years hack a cloud provider.

Wrong proposal and wrong conclusion.
Online password manager offers things which offline cannot offer. This is the reality.
Want to be safe on internet? Go offline!!! This is the safest way, just never be connected.
