When Katie took the stand, the prosecution failed to ask her exactly what she was discussing with Charlie in these 'secret' coded meetings as well as questioning her regarding the communications she had with Garcia on his trip to do the murder.

I’m not condoning breaking the law on reporting income however, her income is barely enough to support herself and 2 children. Many parents especially single parents are forced into similar positions to just to survive.

Why are these special agents (and State) believing the 'evidence' collected is valuable?

They put out a 'controlled bump' - named specific names and get excited over a 'bite'? The subjects made contact. Of, course. You named their names on a piece of paper.

If we gathered intel on our neighbors - their friends and family members and sent them a funky letter naming those individuals …. they'd probably make contact with one another as well and be trying to figure out what the 'letter' meant and was it or was it not dangerous. Some would be worried and others not so much. Most would contact LE … some may not.

For the most part it just sounds like two friends talking after one receives a funky letter with a 5K demand. They don't know whether to pay or contact the police for reasons unknown. Eventually, they just ignore. (Or, Katie decides it's a nothing burger and lies about calling?)

At one point it does get 'dark' when Donna Adelson speaking to Charlie states "this concerns me and you and I think you know what I'm talking about". She sounds angry with Charlie. But, she mentions something about a TV or a new TV and this one should be about 5K.

And, because they've already referenced wanting to kill an unknown person could Donna be talking about another murder for hire plot? As it appears Dan Markel was a 100K TV.

And, years earlier a TV repair appointment was scheduled to cover for a 'murder for hire' admission by Wendi to Jeffrey. She needed a separate witness to echo it was a 'joke' over a new TV divorce present. (The day of the murder.) Because Wendi would need to explain to police her brother is a 'joker' in regards to murder for hire comments …. and name Jeffrey as a suspect for the murder because she alleges she drove him crazy. But, conveniently leaves out the conversation she and Jeffrey had 5 nights earlier - when Wendi blurts out this confession.

And, no wonder people in town blamed the Adelson family for this crime so quickly! WILD

Wendi alleges brother Charlie checked into a murder for hire attempt in 2013 to Jeffrey. (Possibly to get a reaction from Jeffrey only or an excuse if others have ever really heard Charlie echo these sentiments.) Thus, points finger at brother (in advance) to Jeffrey only so that later she can point finger at Jeffrey …. But, cover for brother Charlie - calling it a joke; first in the morning to the TV repair guy and later on after lunch to LE. (*She's probably suspecting Jeffrey will try to blame 'Charlie' not the entire family. And, her plan back fires …. again.)

Question: Did Wendi enlist her brother or mother to help her in this murder for hire plot?
