Lombard Street POV (World's Crookedest Street) - San Francisco

Lombard Street is an East-West street in San Francisco, California, but one specific block of the street is known as the 'most crookedest street in the world', with 8 hairpin bends down a steep incline. It attracts 2 million visitors a year. Take a couple of rides down Lombard Street in this short touristy video filmed in 2016!

I'm glad to see it's opened up again to vehicles. In Dec. 1976 my dad drove us down that road but in 1988 when we visited my cousin (who was living close to there at the time) it was closed to the driving public.

Try going down Lomard in a LIMO amd then we'll talk 😂😂😂. My family owned a club in Cupertino back in the 80's and 90's with a limo that was willing to take anyone who felt they had too much, home safely. About 30 years ago ny grandmother and aunt (her sister) came to viait us and my mom "hired" out the limo for a day to take them (and myself and her) around San Francisco to see the major landmarks (including Lomard). Needless to say, lots of stopping and going on the way down.
