Thanks for including some highlights form his time on the Phillies. Even after injuries had sapped his power, he still had the stuff and the command...and oh my that changeup. That sweet, filthy, disgusting changeup. 4:35 is among the best I've seen...that thing just falls straight off the table. He could still bury that league average fastball (at that point in time) middle in to a lefty and there was no way they could hit it due to how he would set them up to look away. Among the greatest if not THE greatest pitcher of his generation, and perhaps all time. Yeah yeah yeah, I know he didn't pitch 26 years, I know he fell off sharply towards the end. I know he had some injuries in the middle of his historic 7 year peak. Who cares. The guy dominated the steroid era like nobody else could. He pitched in the most competitive division in baseball at the time. He was the MAN.

The man was basically lights out for years. And 99 and 2K were off the charts. But 04 was what we had promised Pedro. And he helped us get there.
