How to Remove Red Lines in Microsoft Word

How to Remove Red lines in MS Word: Get rid of all the red wavy underlines in Word doc.

You can simply turn them off by choosing File ⇒ Options ⇒ Proofing and unchecking the option Check spelling as you type. Or you can select the words that have red wavy underlines and either:

Right-click on the word and choose Add to Dictionary, or

Choose Review ⇒ Language ⇒ Set Proofing Language and check the option Do not check spelling or grammar.

The last step is the only one that will travel with the document, in case this is a file you will be sending elsewhere.
