Celebration of world's smallest car on Isle of Man

A rally celebrating the world’s smallest car was held on the Isle of Man over the weekend. Footage shows people driving around the towns of Douglas and Peel, in the Peel P50 and Trident microcars, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Peel Engineering's production of the cars.

38 mph and sounds like an old one cylinder polaris snowmobile. No reverse either, just a handle on the back so you can drag it backwards. Most of them look like they could use some front end work as well.

These would be incredibly efficient as EVs. Probably 16km/kWh. You could charge with flexible CIGS solar cells on roof too. Far too much noise and air pollution for such little torque as they are here.

On batteries that could be part of the future for villages / small towns and / or elderly people. They are already in Japan and the Netherlands.
