First, I do appreciate the time and effort you took to make and post this video.
It was informative about ambient/OCF maybe not in the way you thought it would be though.
You really missed several points which brought the quality of the photos way down.

The model did well, so let's not make her part of my observations.

However, your ambient exposure was still way too bright for the results you stated you were trying to achieve. I think you could have raised your shutter speed at least to 1/3000, or even 1/4000, which would have been 1/3-2/3 stops darker than your 1/2500 (one stop between 1/2500 and your original 1/5000) and added more separation between subject/background. And you never mentioned that this was causing your strobe to be in HSS (high speed sync) so the power was reduced on output.

And, my opinion, the strobe was still way overpowered and made a very "flashed" look on your model. She was definitely "lit up" in appearance making her very shiny and bright. This was made more noticeable by her dark skin tone and the "shine" off of her cheeks and forehead. Watch again and see the specularity of her skin highlights. My suggestion: just lower the flash power 2/3 to maybe 1 stop.

And I will point out your compositions were not good with a tree growing right out of the top of her head, making it very apparent because there was no other tree branches framing her to show where she is posed. Also this loses the separation again because her head contrast blends into the branch, move the camera just a little to put her in an open space in the tree/sky.

I know this was just an instructional video on one lighting subject, but you are appear to be a good photographer with a basic grasp on your ideas, so step up to the next level on other points. Thanks for reading and good luck.
