Edit: Ok; So I am seeing alot of comments saying crossing a Double Yellow is not illegal; in The US, it is very much illegal; Outside of rare circumstances IE to avoid crashing, or to turn left (which should be illegal with some stops people make in the middle of the roadway; atleast on Highways, Rural or Regular.) and Construction. Otherwise within the Jurisdiction of the United States it is generally not legal. Outside of the US laws seem to be different and I can't speak for that.
