You explained it very well; however I have one question 7:00. You only considered (1, 2) and (2, 3) that are not transitive because 1 E 2, 2 E 3 so 1 E 3 which is absent in the union of relations. However by the same reasoning for (1, 2) and (2, 1), they are transitive because 1 E 2, 2 E 1 it implies 1 E 1, which is present in the union of relation. Please clarify this to me.
