Diesel subsidy: Choose SKDS 2.0 or Budi Madani, not both, Armizan tells applicants

Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali on Thursday (May 30) said applicants looking to receive diesel subsidies can only apply for either the Subsidised Diesel Control System 2.0 (SKDS) programme or Budi Madani and not both.

He said SKDS applied to companies whereas the Budi Madani programme was for small farmers, among others.

The nation really needs a single integrated national data program which the WB had advocated so that all transactions have to go through. Of course, such program needs security of the data but ALL parties are permitted through a controlled process to look into his interests cia a very rigid but simple procedures. There was this guy who "assisted" in handling all the Government ang paos to the supposedly B40 and he said he had to be paid up to 40% of what he had to handle! Is it that difficult to get such a system? I believe all the major international players have more or less a near ready system. Why waste time to re-invent the wheel?
