In Jurassic World you will see Chris Pratt fighting against one ultra-smart, genetically-engineered giant monster called Indominus Rex and a bunch of other dinosaurs with an appetite for screaming tourists. It can be a total disaster, but it sounds as cool as these 9 awesome facts about Jurassic Park.

We come from the future.

I'm a bit worried about the new movie since most of the shots seem to take place in the day and, as we all know, Jurassic Park is frightening in the dark.

Jurassic Park was the first film to use DTS audio, something we all take for granted today.

Fun Fact : Indominus Rex isn't the first hybrid dinosaur from Jurassic Park, like in the film Jurassic World they are all hybrids because of there frog DNA in them but if you still don't consider that a hybrid than there was also a toy line of Jurassic Park hybrid dinosaurs called Jurassic Park Chaos Effect .

I also remember hearing that the real spitting Dilophasaur didn't actually spit or have the frills and the rattle sound. Also they were supposed to be larger than they are portrayed in the movie, they were supposed to be closer to the size of the raptors but Spielberg reduced the size to avoid confusion with the raptors

The roar of a Tyrannosaurus rex in Jurassic Park is actually the sound of the aircraft simulator at NASA'S Langley Research Center.

3:07 this fact is still absolute rubbish, the original storyboards show the Tyrannosaur's head pushing down the bubble roof and the kids have to hold it up. Not only that, it was filmed at multiple angles, meaning that they would have had to film the shot multiple times, making it clear that the kid's screams were acted.

Image 40 out of the 168 there (labelled as 60A) shows the T rex pushing down the roof.

Most dinosaurs are adult or juvenile versions of the same dinosaurs. So there might really be only 1/4 to 1/10 of the recorded dinosaurs.

Research your facts, Dr.Wu briefly appeared in the first movie, as well as in Jurassic World.

I can't believe that the glass fell on accident. I think its more of a more of a myth. I mean, why were all the cameras in just the right position to emphasize an unplanned accident?

There's something that I don't understand about that scene where the T-Rex comes through the sunroof of the Jeep.  What was their original plan for that scene?  We saw all of that from multiple angles (from above the vehicle, from below where the kids were lying down and from behind the car).  If that wasn't scripted, how did they get the cameras in like that without any revealing mistakes?
