I'm actually glad Lauren set those boundaries with her new born. The first few days and weeks after birth are overwhelming. Having a parade of visitors in your house can add a lot of stress that a new mom doesn't need.

You can really tell that those women know what it means to be freshly postpartum. So positive and respectful about meeting the baby from outside. Saying it is a "great idea". Clearly Michelle has had 19, but even Jessa's response. Sooo sweet. I think a lot of us first time moms would have wished for such considerate family.

So glad they stayed outside I’d get so overwhelmed if 20 people landed at my living room in the first week of having a new born

It's funny how they were so careful about germs etc before covid was even known( she was born in november), and then only a couple of months later....
