Diesel fuel, huh? Isn't that the fuel that has to be compressed to very high pressures and temperatures to get it to ignite inside an engine? Sure, you can get it to burn, but it's unlikely to just combust in a parked vehicle. Gasoline would be far more likely, but an EV battery is by far the most likely, unless tje fire was started by arson, but in that case, it really doesn't matter what type of vehicle was lit.

More importantly, the presence of EVs within the carpark catching fire made it nearly impossible to extinguish. The popping sounds we hear in the soundtrack are obviously Lion battery cells exploding.
