A quick correction, GPU mining for BTC is largely obsolete. While you can still do it, it doesn’t seem to make very much financial sense at all at this point. Mining Monero is still very much valid.

I was able to instantly understand more about how Bitcoin purchase and storage works in this *single video* than in hours of watching other geeky videos.

Great video, and I like the part in the beginning where you said Bitcoin being used by criminals for privacy reasons is irrelevant. People hate others getting their financial privacy and hence cook that up to paint everything black lol. Personally, my privacy on Bitcoin is attained mostly using Bitcoinmix when moving BTC & ETH to storage. I also try to change my addresses frequently for frequent transactions.

How to keep your privacy while using bitcoin:

Do a million things that aren't user friendly, are impossible to regularly carry out with frequent transactions, and have no guarantee of actually maintaining privacy.

Hmm. The privacy issue might be a dealbreaker for me. Imagine opening a bank account, but literally anyone could dig up your entire financial history with some digging. No thanks.

In my humble opinion Grin is the best privacy coin there is, because instead of trying to obscure all the information it just deletes every transaction between you and the miner, so all grin coins are just mined with absolutely no criminal history. Of course there a few technical limitations, for example double spending could be possible or the receiver must be online too, but these are not really relevant and the MimbleWimble Protocol is just so clean and beautiful

😆 Thanks for the intro laughs and great ideas that followed! Normies (my parents) really believe it's anonymous and used by criminals. 😆 Ugh, the pre-programmed Gen is a tough one to reformat.

Respected Techlore Sire,

I am suggesting a video idea. How to proof home security (from emd), home network and encryption

Simply using a hardware wallet or private wallet does diddle squat if you originally sent it to there from an exchange. It can still be traced to your purchase or trade. You're better off using multiple inputs and multiple outputs through DeFi to another coin, use a mixer, or swap service. Though if they really really want to find you, I would still avoid swapping unless you swap to Monero.
Another option is to use a cloud mining service that doesn't ask for any personal information. You will get freshly minted coin, just make sure to mine them to an unused fresh private address.

What about buying off a decentralized exchange with an offshore visa/mastercard supported account, wouldn’t that also work so long as you aren’t purchasing within the U.S an if you are which you shouldn’t couldn’t you also buy anonymously by using a vpn which isn’t recommended but also an option?

They was one of the most useful videos of bitcoin I’ve ever seen in my life. You just got yourself a new subscriber! Thanks so much!

Question: if you buy Monero from an exchange that requires KYC, is the transaction tracked or visible?

So basically Bisq is where transactions remain anonymous and registration needs no identification.
Gotya and thanks for being the modern Jesus we've been waiting for. 🎉

Can you clarify, does the wallet not typically change the address after every transaction?

I heard somewhere that you can buy prepaid visa/Amex cards with monero. Is there a way to sell it and convert it into fiat or a similar equivalent anonymously?

Can't you simply make Bitcoin anonymous by trading it once or twice to a new wallet you've never used before spending it?
They have no way of knowing that those trades aren't you giving it to someone else.

Hey! Because paying with monero is difficult, could I buy bitcoin, then convert it to monero, then convert it to bitcoin so that I can finally buy things with Bitcoin and so that I am safer overall? Or would the XMR into Bitcoin procedure negate the whole thing of trying to be anonumous?
Great video, thanks!
