You can get really nice life vests with a little chin lift that are a huge help for those front heavy babies, really keeps their faces elevated out of the water.

Hey jon just heads up your prong collar is not correctly fitting. You might want to size down the prongs. The trachea plate is meant to stay on the front. You want the tightening chain on the back, with a soft upside down triangle shape when the line is slack. The collar should sit up high under the jaw, so theres less pressure on the throat and its more oriented towards the head instead of the shoulders.

You want it to be snug so it doesnt twist and the prongs dont push into the trachea. To get the right snugness you might need to size down because the huge prongs change size hugely when you remove one. You can also use a flat collar below the prong as a "spacer" to keep it sitting higher without being so so tight, as long as it doesnt fall down over or under the spacer, or twist.

Hope this was helpful, boba seems like theyre walking/running alongside you really well! Just want you to avoid accidents and injuries unnecessarily. Plus, the better contact will allow less pressure to be used while getting a similarly good level of communication

My Australian Shepherd's first time in water happened when he jumped off the boat. It took me all day of coaxing him in with a frisbee to finally get comfortable with the water after that.

That was an incredible first day! Looks like she’s got the doggy paddle down perfectly haha. And a really good idea too, with running to get her hot and tired then making the connection that swimming or laying in water is refreshing and enjoyable.
