Stihl MS251 chainsaw keeps shutting down after 10 minutes. Hmmm? Part 1of 2

Ok guys. I was kinda looking in the right area for why this machine would just randomly shut down. Jimmie the guys that uses these machines is very knowledgeable and does a great job of describing the problem. Now, you need to watch both parts of this and in the description of the next one I will tell you what the problem actually was. Follow along with my analness as I try to decipher this machine. When it dies, pull the plug and do a spark test. Ignition modules sometimes get weak and you simply loose spark.

Clean or replace the filter and that will probably take care of the problem.👍

Strip it right down check the impulse line, boot and piston for scoring if nothing then buy a cheep carb of eBay and if that works get a rebuild kit for the original Stihl carb
