Join Bob Ciucevich as he shares his personal and professional discovery of the significance of the Ranch House – locally, regionally, and nationally – first when his own grandmother’s house, a 1953 ranch house, reached “historic eligibility” status and second through his involvement with the Fairway Oaks Association in the listing of Fairway Oaks on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009, making it the first Mid-Century subdivision in Georgia (and among the first in the nation) to achieve such a designation.

Speaker: Robert A. Ciucevich is an author, lecturer, and historic preservationist. As the principal of Quatrefoil Historic Preservation Consulting, he has provided consulting services to city and county governments, federal agencies, community groups, and private individuals throughout Georgia. For the past several years, Bob has worked with local and regional organizations to promote awareness of and advocate for the preservation of Savannah’s rich collection of Modern architecture, including preparing National Register nominations for the Fairway Oaks-Greenview, Kensington Park-Groveland, and Magnolia Park-Blueberry Hill (pending) historic districts.
