Fat tires VS Skinny tires Ebike

Let's talk about benefits and drawbacks of fat tires vs skinny ones

Where I live, puncture resistance is EVERYTHING. We have a type of plant here with thorns called "goatheads" Each one has several small thorns sticking out in all directions, and they are everywhere. When you run over one you are going to get a flat 99% of the time, which means almost every time you go for a ride. On regular pedal bicycles, I solved that problem by using puncture resistant tubes, which are FOUR TIMES thicker than normal tubes, combined with putting sealer in the tubes. Sealer will not work with normal thin tubes, as there is no surface area for it to seal against, plus thin tubes usually tear when punctured. But these tubes are only available in standard bicycle tire sizes, and it seems that most ebikes do not use regular bicycle tire sizes. I am looking for an ebike, because I am disabled and can no longer pedal a regular bike. It also means I can no longer fix a flat tire out on the road, especially on a 60+ pound bike.

No pedal range is also critical for me, since I can't pedal. And fat tires seriously decrease that range because of rolling resistance, caused by their low pressure, large contact patch, and heavy weight. I also think they look stupid. I've had fairly large motorcycles that had skinnier tires than most fat tire ebikes. A 4" wide tire belongs on the back of a Harley, not a bicycle.

Great video you know your stuff. I have a Wired Freedom with 26 x 4'' tires and would like to down size because i ride mostly in the city and i don't need knobby just maybe all terrain tires any suggestion ?

On a 20 inch tire bike, will a 2.5 inch wide skinny tire (best for pavement), still ride OK on a dirt road that's not too rough?

I have a question. What's are the tire sizes on both bikes? I currently have an ebike with 2-inch tires, and I'm thinking about buying a 3-inch tire ebike.
