Had the original, now I’m using the platinum plus. The original is ok. But the platinum plus barely damages my hair even when I’m not using heat protection And makes my hair so soft & smooth.

I agree with other comments. You get to the point quickly and your easy to understand. I’ve used YouTube to learn how to fix or install things. I find it so irritating to watch people open boxes and read the entire box that I turn it off before they get to the actual point! Thank you!!!

I have had the GHD original straightener for over 10years I cant belive it lol i use it nearly every other day sometimes everyday I cant belive it's still works for me lol it does have a crack but my hair hasn't been damaged at all from the usage. I just had to share because I'm amazed myself I own something that old lol

Seeing as the platinum+ is less damaging, it's better for those of us with finer hair that we don't want to damage, due to the better technology. Not sure why you're recommending the standard original with ceramic plates to those with fine hair, makes no sense really as fine hair needs to be more protected.

I got the platinum plus for Christmas after using the GHD original max for years. I was very disappointed with GHD platinum plus as they didn't work well with my thick and frizzy hair. It was very frustrating as I had to go back to my GHD original max. Waste of money for me. I will try and sell the platinum plus GHDs but only good for people with fine hair in my opinion.

l had the original years ago, made my hair static, everything l touched electrical getting shocks lol, l stopped using ghd for years, then thought l give ghd another chance so bought the gold styler, omg what a big difference, no static nothing, l bleach my hair, and even though l use straighteners, they make my hair so smooth, no breakage, nothing
