Also in my opinion. The DSi XL is probably the best way to play DS Games.

Both Screens are IPS which makes them looks colourful and amazing and the pixel resolution is the exact game as the original DS so you won't get blurry pixels like the 3DS or the 3DS XL. You'll get nice sharp pixels with the DSi XL.

I’ve just bought a bunch of these as they are so cheap and can emulate GB, GBC and GBA (in addition to NES and SNES). Considering the minimal difference in external dimensions, the XL is quite impressive, but not a truly pocketable device. Still, it’s the one that man6 of us would take when we are not carrying the device with us. Otherwise, it’s the DSi, I’d say. Day trip, commute or daily work - DSi. Home or holiday - XL.

0:55 I realize your video was from over six months ago, but the $60 price you mentioned is no longer accurate, unless you get lucky on an auction. These days, a DSi XL will run you more like $75 without a charger on eBay, or $85 with an OEM charger. Those prices include shipping.

Portability? I have a purse/bag its always portable 😎 Guys should use bags more. (Not that us ladies get pockets big enough for regular ds sizes anyways lol)

dsi easily. i’ve had it for 15 years absolute perfect size use it more than my switch i’ve noticed on trips a switch is a pain in the ass to carry onto a plane or any where i have to take the controllers off and try to fit it into my small bag i keep at my seat on a plane and it still doesn’t fit. the battery dies in 2 hours so i need a charger for it but the plus is i can prop it on the tray and play with the controller thing u slide ur two controllers into but the controller mount thing i have to carry too. dsi fits right into my pocket just like it did when i was little and i just tested the battery life, after 15 years of never changing the battery, 3 hrs on medium brightness not a single bar went down.

The only thing I dislike about the DSi is no GBA slot, but a flashcart fixes that.

hey buddy as the DSi XL has lower pixel density than DS Lite while having same resolution / pixels of 256 x 192 isnt it blurry? and i think you can see pixels too. because 73 ppi of DSi XL is too small.

I have New 3DS XL, wouldnt DS games look better on it in native mode vs DSi X: as new 3ds xl has higher ppi even if DS games have black bars around them when playing in native mode?

Honestly the xl is the only dsi worth getting since a ds lite should be cheaper and it has the gba slot
