Malta. Not at all I what I expected. But in a good way! Malta is one of the most extraordinary places we've ever covered. Utterly unique. So much history on such a small island - from the Romans to the siege of Malta, there are so many stories to discover.

Malta is also home to some of the most delicious food in the world. We were lucky speak with Chef Stefan Hogan, a Malta native, to get the lowdown on Maltese food.

Having lived in Malta for 5 years, I can say that it is a beautiful country in some parts, and a deeply troubled in other. It’s definitely worth a trip or even a short expatriate year though. Particularly when you’re young! ❤️

Your intro to this, about the history of the people of Malta was wonderful. This is the reason I travel. I want to see the places where people made history. I want to have appreciation for those who came before us and for cultures different from mine.

Malta is well worth a visit, fabulous place, take a boat trip cross to their little islands the best view ever! I recommend this hotel, as far as I remember there is a swimming pool on top of the roof :) I stayed there part of my work travels! :)
