Показать описание
In this video I build an Eleksmill cnc router and laser kit, install the software and test it with Aluminium, Acrylic, Plywood, FR4 PCB & Adhesive Vinyl.

WD40 white lithium grease (for lubricating the leadscrews)

WD40 CT90 cutting oil (for cutting metal)

The Acrylic sheet sheet used was cast acrylic. Extruded acrylic does not mill very well.

I don’t usually post comments but that was an amazing video! I have the same machine but after an initial test it’s sat unplugged for over a year - Not anymore, I’ll be setting it back up again and having another go at understanding how to use it. Thank you very much, a very inspirational video.

for anyone starting out this is by far the most informative tutorial it shows the capability of this machine and beyond
Thank you very much

Any sane person who dislikes this video ought to have a very good reason for doing so. I like how you got straight into it and presented the content in a concise way.

I am running the program on windows 7 but it doesn’t work probably. The work area is black, is that ok or there is something wrong with my program? Thanks.

The best video about eleksmill. Where can I find out about the orange mount in the 26:51th minute of the video?

I'm wondering what there is the limit of clearance in PCB design. Someone could share documentation or experience, about the PCB application?

Have you tried this in either copper or brass plate? I’m looking to do some engraving

Suggestion, using plasticine, make a dam all around the outer of the aluminium sheet that you are milling, then fill with WD40. 😊😊

Exactly what i need, thank you for this.

So in theory, one could get longer 2040 aluminum extrusions, longer lead screws and rods, and 3D print or Mill wider replacements for the acrylic parts. Thus making a larger machine. I would have to find a solution for the larger build plate. I have a 3018-mx3 that I'm thinking about extending this way. No one seems to have any videos or tutorials, covering this. :-(

@techydiy . I hope you can help me. I'm after a small CNC router. Do you have any suggestions what to get?
Main purpose will be milling aluminium (up to 4mm).
I own a EleksMaker® EleksLaser- A3 Pro
Thank you for any info on this.
