GIRLS PERFORMANCE:

My best friend Jasmine and I held a fundraiser that we hoped would change the lives of girls living in an orphanage for the visually impaired in Jammu, Kashmir, India (or as I like to call it, EARTHIA). We were fundraising money to buy a braille printer with appropriate software and paper, which costs over $5000. On the night of the fundraiser we counted up the donated money (including the online donations) in front of everyone and told them that we would release this video, which would show them exactly where their money was going.

The main concept of the event was to have complete transparency when it came to the money that everyone donated and this video will show you everything we could document including: the amount we raised; the cost of the Braille machine, translation software and paper; receipts; the installation of the machine at the orphanage and the girls reading newly-printed braille from the machine.

Gautam, you are a hero for bringing out the best in Humanity, thanks for changing the lives of the people easily forgotten by most. Thanks also for sharing the little girls poem of so much hope and love and courage. You are a hero. Apologies i had not heard of you earlier. Love your humility and your quality of deflecting credit to others.
