ASUS should give you a big raise! You sure give a really good and professional overview of all the ASUS products. I am planning a new build in a month or so and it will have an ASUS motherboard and Graphics card (Z87-Pro & GTX 760). Your videos and appearances on different tech-based-shows really had a positive effect.

Keep up the good stuff!

I am by no means a pro, but dual channel will still help you if you are using 4 RAM sticks. As you saw in the video, the RAM slots went black gold black gold. Dual channel means that if for instance, you were only using 2 sticks, then you would put both of them on the same color slot, and the motherboard would get higher performance out of them. Running 4 sticks, means that it will get more performance from both sets of RAM sticks. I hope that made sense and helped.

Excellent video JJ. Thanks!
Honestly, Asus has spread out so many Motherboards just for nothing, I wanted Maximus VI Hero with Thunderbolt but I can't. Deluxe Motherboard doesn't come with Thunderbolt and Deluxe/Dual has 2 Thunderbolt ports which is very expensive... Expert does not have Wifi 802.11ac. I have been using Asus for quite some time now and have been very happy but not as confused as I am now with this Z87 series... :)

Don't quote me on this but I think in a separate video, I remember a spokesperson from Intel had said something along the lines of that the cooler support for the 1150 socket is the exact same as 1155.

i hope when 2011 haswell comes out in 2014 you guys offer a 2011 socket haswell motherboard with 4 way optimization.1 button for extra performance is a good selling feature.and the 4 way feature is amazing for noobs that want the extra bang for there buck but dont know how to overclock.

I have one like this, why the memory slot does not recognize 8gb amount of memory in each one, it sums only 4gb?

I don't know how much looks count for a pro work with occasional gaming, but if money is out of the equation, then I'd go with the Maximus VI Formula (latest chipset and CPU Gen is prefered, compared to X79). With its ROG Armor falls into a "looks could kill" category. :)
If price matters, then I'd consider getting an ASRock Z87 OC Formula. That has some advanced features.

Also, it could be drivers so update your drivers to see if that may the problem if you think it's not your RAM. And if you haven't dusted for a while. It doesn't hurt. I actually had a very dusty machine. I had blue screens at any random time when running video. After I dusted everything off as I placed my old parts into a new computer case, that blue screen hasn't show up since. It could be the cooling system that helped or just the fact that it's dust free.

Somehow I can't do an iso from the dvd that comes with this particular mobo. I'm building a computer without optical drive. Is there another way? May I just download what's on your site?
