How to Fix “Location Not Available” on iPhone

If you are having problem with "Location Not Available" when trying to share or view someone's location on your iPhone, there's few things you can do to fix this issue. In this video we show you how to fix Location Not Available on iPhone.

I was able to share my location after trying these steps but my location was still showing as “no location found”

So here is what you do to fix this apart from the steps shown in this video
Go to settings
then click on your Name/ID
then click on Find My
Then click on Find my Phone ( it should say on besides it) click on it again and enable find my phone, find my network, send last location
Especially make sure to enable find my network

Once that is done, go to iPhone maps and allow all permissions, especially the Enhance maps feature

And this will for sure fix your issue!

since updating to IOS 17, the sharing of locations with family and friends does not show their exact location, only a dot on the US map. Prior to updating, it showed the street they were on. Is there a glitch in IOS17 as some write about online? thank you.

Go to settings-> screen time -> click share across devices and then follow prompts… this is what I had to figure for it work

Reset and privacy reset worked . Thank you . Can’t understand why phone companies can’t give a trouble shooting booklet with their phones . Everytime I have a problem I have to go on YouTube 🙄🙄
