The degree of a polynomial with only one variable is the largest exponent of that variable.
Example:
4x^3-x-3 The Degree is 3 (the largest exponent of x)

*Lesson In A Nutshell*
- Take A Look At Your Polynomial
- Split Your Polynomial Into Different Monomials
- If There Are Variables Without Exponents, Simply Add “1” as the exponent (Doesn’t Alter Variable)
- Once That’s Done, Add The Exponents Of The Variable In Separate Monomials As Done Earlier
- The Monomial Which Has The Higher Sum Would Exist To Be The Degree Of The Polynomial
(Thank Me Later) 🔜
