I have an organized fridge and I can already tell this set up is going to be hard to maintain and it is also hard to get to your items so your produce is going to go bad. When you organize your fridge you don’t want to give up function. Everything should be easy to grab.

If you put onions/garlic bulbs, taters and maters in a dark, dry cupboarb they will keep much longer for you.

Her refrigerator was crowded before. Now she has a bunch of larger, half filled containers. How does that *really* help if she has to throw away most of what she had in there to make it ‘aesthetically pleasing’?

I can understand putting some stuff in the pull-out containers, so it’s easier to reach the things in the back. However, a lot of this trend is just about having the fancy matching containers. The dumbest thing is taking the eggs out of the original small container that has the expiration date stamped on it, and can be cut in half when it’s half empty, just to put it in a larger container, and potentially mixing eggs with different batches together. Also, by removing much of the original packaging, they dispose of the processing information, so it would be difficult to check for food recalls.
