I am expecting my first child in July and I got that mammaRoo rocker my wife sold me on it and that thing does everything even has a plug in for your phone to play music out of it. And simulates a car so you don't have to drive your baby around at night.

A great guide for baby things is Katie on the Flip Side's 'Parent's React to Old Baby Products'. I've had friends watch it and it really helped them decide on what they should and shouldn't buy for a first baby. Really good advice. It's so difficult to know sometimes. I know hubby and I bought things we never really used. Such an exciting time for both of you. Congratulations!
