That was the best-quality upload of this music video I could find online, and in fact it was the only one I could find that includes the last half-minute of the song. It misses the beginning of the song, and does not have very good audio quality, so I have replaced the audio track with a high-quality, full-length one, and this involved slowing down the footage quite a lot, as it was running very fast compared to the HQ audio track I am using. To accompany the beginning of the song, I have put up on screen a picture of the single as released in Germany. The first 4 seconds of the footage, which occur in this video between 0:05 and 0:09, were very out-of-sync, with the picture running very early compared to the sound, so I have fixed that. The next 6 seconds were in sync, and the remainder of the footage was slightly out of sync, with the picture running slightly early compared to the sound, so I have fixed that. I have also cropped the edges of the picture, just enough to clean them up. I have also upscaled the resolution from 480p to 1080p, as this increases the bitrate, which slightly improves picture quality at all the different resolution settings the viewer can select and allows for the highest-quality audio, but please be aware that playing it at the 1080p setting is not going to make it look as good as a true 1080p video. I have also added optional subtitles for the lyrics.
This song was written by Tom Johnston. This track was produced by Ted Templeman, and was released in 1973. According to Wikipedia, this single reached No. 8 in the band's native USA and in Canada, No. 10 in the Netherlands, No. 11 in South Africa, No. 15 in New Zealand, No. 58 in Australia, and No. 64 in Germany. A 1993 remix of the song reached No. 7 in the UK, No. 14 in Ireland, No. 34 in Belgium, and No. 67 in Australia.
I have also made a high-quality upload of the official video for that 1993 remix version, and it can be seen here:

I have been unable to find an official presentation of the lyrics to this song. Presented as a comment below and as optional subtitles in the video is my own transcript of the lyrics, and to help me in figuring out what the correct lyrics are I have referred to the presentations found on lyrics websites and guitar notation websites, I have looked at the pictures of sheet music that are freely available to view, and I have watched videos of live versions of the song.
