This has been the not-so-secret thing around the league with Kawhi -- he apparently has always had people close to him giving him bad advice, and causing issues with the teams that he's been on. I used to think San Antonio did him wrong, but I don't think that anymore lol

So this health professional is overly cautious with treatment plan yet he still doesn’t get results. Bro it’s been 5 years since he moved from Toronto and Kahwi is still not playing. Clippers shouldnt have given him a contract especially if they knew all these behind the scenes drama going on with Kahwi’s people. He ain’t playing, PGs gone, and young Shai’s killing it in OKC.

Strength and conditioning coaches are NOT medical professionals. While there may be some overlap with regards to rehabilitation and prevention of athletic injuries, they are NOT medical professionals. The athletic trainers/physical therapists/ortho are the ONLY ones that should have any say in his return to play

The revelations we can infer from this lawsuit are huge. Kawhi's _own guy_ was telling the Clips Kawhi wanted double the max standard recovery time for ACL tear grade 3 (rupture). Double! And this is straight from Kawhi's team/the trainer himself, it's not the Clips trying to blame Kawhi, so there's no reason to doubt it. So we finally have a likely answer to why he's out so much — Kawhi and his personal team demand it. *Double* the recovery time goes far beyond just being extra cautious.

Go back and read all of the sources available during Kawhi's San Antonio tenure, not merely the mainstream sources.

There was a rather large continent of the Uncle Dennis team publicly at odds with San Antonios training staff.

Normally, this isn't an issue, as NBA teams are notorious for their lack of substantive hiring practices towards medical professionals.

However, the fact that similar public facing disagreements consistently follow Kawhi are extremely telling.

The man has mismanaged and manipulated Kawhi's entire career.
