Swirling shimmering liquid core dice are a lot of fun. I've had a couple people tell me they are daunted by the idea of making them, but they're not too difficult once you do a couple. In this video I'll walk you through my process for making them!

Love this! If you use a ring to set the sphere on then you can avoid and residue getting on them from the clay.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! I have a cheap dice mold, it works fine for making dice as gifts, but really wanted to make my nephew a set with a liquid core. I really appreciate you sharing this tutorial with everyone, it's a big help. My biggest issue is on my mold the triangle shaped die isn't very big, the internal space is quite small. That will be my next hurtle, finding small enough globe to fit in that one. 😅 Again, thank you so much for this video! ❤

You answered one of the biggest stumbling blocks I've had, which is where to find caps for the spheres. The answer is you don't. It's just the UV resin and a slightly less spherical object.
Thank you!

Thanks for this video! I watched this because I was curious how you handled hiding the hole on the glass globe, or if you used a different globe to make these. On one of mine, I actually made one into a Pokeball for a Pokemon TCG damage counters and it masked the hole pretty well. ^_^;;

I used Rybonator's (sp?) tutorial for my liquid cores, though I did not add any rubbing alcohol and haven't got the glycerin to try that yet. I once tried a few drops of 99% alcohol to try and keep the mica from clumping (or at least that's what someone told me to try), but for me what ended up happening was that the UV resin ended up sinking into my water and made a goopy mess, vs when I don't put the rubbing alcohol in, the UV resin will just float on top of the water (but my UV resin is kinda thin atm due to summer climate, so I point my UV light onto my balls as I'm putting the UV resin on to seal it. I use Let's Resin "Upgraded crystal clear 250ml" UV resin for mine.
