Kobalt just released a new one by the way! Brushless. I bought it in store.

It was not easy to find online. Only way I found was to use the Lowe’s app, filter only Kobalt products, then find the Kobalt Pex Expander. I drove 74 miles to get it.

$330 for battery, tool, box and 1/2 to 3/4 heads.

Beside that was the 1” DeWalt head, marked down to $10. Absolutely crazy!

I was just at Lowe’s and picked up the dce400d1 on clearance. It was really dusty and must have been hidden somewhere in the back. Clearance price said $314 but was actually marked drown at the register to $147. Unfortunately no 1”head but I’m ordering one right now.

I had both and thought that Milwaukee was the “Nicer” tool, but I had to change the batteries like crazy since I was reliving a whole floor. The DEWALT went on forever, but so did its light… has like a 20 min shutoff on mine which sucks cause I don’t need the light at all lol, but still wouldn’t trade it for anything until the new model comes out😂

Put a piece of tape over the light to cut down the brightness.
