Usually the Rosen Trap relies on the premove of the opponent, best thing about this one it's forced stalemate since the king has to take.
Rosen Trap 2.0

Stalemating is like getting bronze at the Olympics. You are definitely happier than 2nd place because they could have gotten first, while you are just happy to stand on the podium.

yeah life really does things in very unpredictable ways

stalemating feels better because the other team was winning and you draw the game instead of losing the game and checkmating you feel good because you know you outplayed them

It’s can be more exciting to trick the opponent into a trap. Victories are still more rewarding.

"Sometimes stalemating is even more satisfying than checkmating". I agree, I almost achieved a beautiful 4 rooks stalemate (I had the rooks, tried to stalemate on purpose) with the king cornered by a square of rooks. Opponent stalled out on time before I could deliver (stale)mate

Imagine if someone did the Rosen trap over the board. That would be funny

0:24 he could take the rook there, that is also force draw if the opponent didnt takes eric simply winning

New chess variant. Whoever plays the move preceding stalemate, wins the game.

Actually that queen could have picked up both rooks and then he could have won.

Didn't opponent missed mate in 1 on 00:21?

Actually, Qg6 on Move 63 would have won him the Game according to Stockfish

Could you have taken the rook on move 64 for free? Cause it would be stalemate if he takes back right?
