After just being diagnosed, I was reluctant to watch this as I was worried that hearing someone's experience would make me feel worse. Totally the opposite, Mark has a very positive outlook and lets us know this is something we can live and thrive with. Hope he continues to do well!

I understand your position oh to well... I had a follicular lymphoma tumor on my spine at L4/L5... diagnosed 6-2015... I started chemo in September, I did six rounds of RCHOP, 1 treatment every three weeks... then Methotrexate injections in my spine every other month for six injections... also Retuximab chemo as a preventive treatment every other month for two years... my cancer has remained non-active since January 2016... however I suffered root-nerve damage at that location and continued to suffer with pain... I'm finally getting a "Spinal Cord Stimulator" installed next month to hopefully get me off all the heavy pain medications... everyday is a blessing... although the doctors say my cancer WILL return, I push on with the determination and belief that it won't... attitude is most important... what you believe is extremely powerful... have faith and just be the shining example for others... this is what I do... my prayers are with you and I wish you all the best...

Watch and wait for indolent non-Hodgkins lymphoma unless:
any node or mass 7 cm;
3 distinct nodal sites, each 3 cm in diameter;
B symptoms (fevers, drenching night sweats and/or unintentional weight loss of > 10% of body weight over 6 months) or other symptoms attributable to the lymphoma;
symptomatic splenomegaly;
(impending) organ compromise;
ascites or pleural effusion;
elevated LDH or beta-2 microglobulin; and
cytopenias attributable to the lymphoma.

Same typical situation as yours discovered a few week’s ago, gone through a series of test, but confused with dissenting advice from one or two medics
Still hoping to find the right consultant with who inspire confidence to go ahead with positively
No symptoms except a lump felt up my thigh and I started the whole process of tests and I ended where is am now

My mom was just diagnosed today with NHL, B-Cell follicular lymphoma. They called it grade 1 which I’m assuming it’s stage 1.
