I'm a retired trucker now doing ART and Lithography. I would love to work in that museum 1 day a week for minimum wage even if it's cleaning

My mom, sister and I would visit the Hirshorn when we visited my mom’s sister who lived in D.C. We always loved it, never knew the backstory.

I was 9 years old, living in Springfield VA, when the Hirschhorn opened. My mother made sure to take me the opening week. I’ve been a lover of modern art ever since.

P.S. It’s my favorite museum in Washington D.C.

There's a lot of space there. I'd rather see much more of Hirschorn's original collection more often.

It's a matter of FAITH friends.. God gave human specie the sense of beauty...not only that beauty raise us happy beyond money but worthy and.. confident of holding precious assets. Beauty becomes a fortune and seeking for emotions, only watching such a structure it feels emotional right away. Fine arts create affection which is already worthy for...anyone out there in the universe...we love to preserve affection, memories and dear precious items, in the end is people to decide the value of a ...creepy painting or not 😮😮😮

I still think these are just splish splash. If these are art, my son’s artistic work need to be displayed.

Hirschorn and National Portrait Gallery best non-history museums in D.C. (big mistake juxtaposing masters like Sargent with modern Woke sub-par work, though).
