I've been working with Stock Data extensively for a few months. The stocks I wanted to use were in a CSV that needed to be updated regularly, and at the time it seemed like there was no other way to update the Stock Data without refreshing the CSV (imported using Power Query). I wrote a macro that would import the CSV and then select the column with the Ticker (symbol) and convert it (back to) a Stock Data type. The macro grew as I hid the display, returned to the worksheet I started on, and even cleared the filters on all tables as the macro would crash if a table was filtered. Then earlier this week I discovered that you can right click on the column with the symbols and select "Data Type -> Refresh" to update the Stock Data and bypass having to do a Refresh All. While all my data is in an Excel Table, it would work for a range as well. I put that action into a macro that saves a LOT of time on a refresh!

Thank you very much for this tutorial! Much appreciated. I have one question and you might be able to help. I have an ETF with symbol ESPO which is traded on the NASDAQ. However, my bank trades it on London Stock Exchange. I already tried to manually force to switch from XNAS:ESPO to XLON: ESPO in Excel but it doesn't work. Do you have any idea how I could achieve this?
