I am a OKC fan for many years now(no, i did not switch to gsw this year) and KD's leaving is justified. Let me explain. The non-luxury salary cap was $70m in 2015-16. We paid KD 20m, Kanter(why?) and Russ 16m each, Ibaka 12m, most of the bench took 5m per like Waiters and Kyle Singer(why???). How the hell is KD supposed to win if they already lost in previous year to GSW and better their team when they don't even have enough money to go for big time assets? You could do trades but limited. Who's gonna take a Kyle Singler who can't shoot well or defend well for 5m? Who's gonna take the old folks like Collison? Are we gonna trade core pieces like Adams or Ibaka or god forbid Russ?

I am ranting but as much as the media calls Sam Presti a genius GM, he has to realise he has stuck himself and the Thunder in NBA purgatory.
