Most of the shots were manually exposed using shutter speed and ISO, while the rest were exposed automatically. The DJI Mic 2 was used for audio.

Don't know if its just me or not but your DJI action 4 hiking videos looks more crisp and cinematic than the action 5 pro. Great shots btw!

I returned the Action 4 and 5 and keeping my Pocket 3 using it with a Scotty Makes Stuff pro case and roll cage that protects the gimbal give the pocket 3 extra protection

I recently watched a review on Tamara Gabriel’s channel, and while she didn’t mention it specifically, I noticed that the footage seemed washed out or muddy. In her video, cloud details were missing, the grass lacked definition, and skin tones appeared strangely soft and smudged. It was quite noticeable. I’m wondering if this is an issue with the raw footage itself, or if it’s something that happens during post-production, where the dynamic range isn't handled properly. I’ve already asked her, and I’d love your take on this as well.

Hi there! What an incredible video. I just received my Action 5 Pro as well. However, I noticed that the Smallrig cage fits quite tightly around the camera, and I have to apply a bit more force to close the cover, which puts some pressure on the camera. To mount the camera, I now have to remove the protective rubber around the lens. Is the cage tighter on the Action 5 compared to the Action 4? Did you notice this with your cage as well? Thanks! I’m looking for a small action camera, not for action, but for mall walking tours, city walks and walks at night in the city lights. I was about to buy the ace pro but then this action 5 dropped. Do you think the action 5 is a good option for evening and night walking videos? And mall walking?

And does the action 5 have jittery effect in low light with artificial lights?

I’m waiting to see what the ace pro 2 will bring.

For the record, I think this footage looks absolutely amazing !

Personally, I don’t want to see DJI to end up like GoPro with bullshit like this. I’m hoping somebody will post a real video on YouTube about the bit rate problem. We should have the choice to customize that.

I agree with you! Definitely mushier image than my Insta360 Ace Pro. I hope DJI can fix this in a firmware upgrade!

I’ll be honest I’d be happy if my footage looked half this good. I don’t have a pro eye though
