I refuse to drive an electric car. It isn't safe in an emergency. If it catches fire, it will burn for about 3 weeks even underwater. Seriously. Oh, and the batteries that catch fire are located directly under your seats, under your butts. The fire department had to find a new way to extinguish EV fires. So the survival rate is pretty low for an EV in an accident that causes the batteries to get punctured at all so a fire it takes waaaay to long and is too expensive to charge, The are dead in the water if you lose power and they don't get charged... Imagine a hurricane or earthquake that knocks power out for weeks ... Not even emergency vehicles would be able to get anywhere if they are all electric.... Just
