"I make videos in Spanish so they dont feel intimated by it"
Spanish-speaking parents will always be scary especially when they pull out a flip flop

She clearly knows spanish. Of course having a perfect accent isn't easy, it takes YEARS of practice and she is doing great!

I'm Chilean, my native language is spanish and when I was learning english they told me that the fastest way to learn is "don't translate from spanish to english, think in english" and it became easy😊

As a Spanish professor, I find that your videos are really inspiring to my students who are learning Spanish and navigating conversations out in the world. Communication is the goal, not perfection. Every language learner continues to learn throughout their life. Keep going and keep inspiring others!!

I love that you don't speak full speed, because it means I can understand you perfectly in Spanish <3

I don't understand why someone would be mean about the fact you are learning another language. You are making an effort to try to talk to someone in their own language. It takes time and skill to be bilingual.

Lift someone up instead of putting them down. Help someone learn. And yes, English is not my first language. So if you have suggestions, feel free to lift me up as well.

Honestamente, hablas bastante bien el Español.
Me encanta que lo intentas y no te rindes, es realmente admirable. ❤

I think it’s really cute the way you talk because you have like the perfect Mexican cadence or intonation even if you have an American accent on some words

Girl, you and so many of us are second generation Hispanics. Our Spanish isn't the best, but we are understood. That's what matters 🙃

She has a Mexican accent. It’s not made up and she speaks very well.

I'm an ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher in a spanish dominant area, and I tell my students "I'll learn Spanish, while you learn English." Mutual respect! We build bonds very fast.

You sound great in Spanish, don’t let anyone tell you different!

I give this girl credit. She is up against a lot of mean people and she keeps going. I can’t do what she does.

I love listening to you and my girls live your videos. They are Gonzalezes who are fluent in Russian and learning Spanish now. It gives them hope that they can learn it too. Keep up the great work!!!

The key difference between you and your mom is immersion. Your mom built her fluency by jumping headlong into an English-speaking environment. She married a man who only spoke English, and became part of an English-speaking community. I think if you lived in Mexico, especially if you lived with your Spanish-speaking relatives, you'd be absolutely fluent and comfortable in Spanish within a year

As a fellow Mexican/Spanish/ American woman who is trying to learn the language of our culture, I find your content so helpful, insightful and inspiring. It is so intimidating learning a new language, you mess up, sound silly, and all of that is okay. Gracias hermana!
