Giant Bag for BP on Lake Okeechobee ( Midway Elite Series Report)

A few years ago I was at one of the St Johns Elite weigh-ins and Brandon P. had been eliminated and was just there with his camera just filming went for a walk along the river there in Palatka before the weigh-in started and there were 2 young kids who were obviously pretty new to bait casters practicing their of no where, BP came down to the kids, asked them if he could help them and those boys smiled and said "yes" and looked soooo spent a good 30 mins with them and was walking them through setting up the bait casters & how to thumb the spool, ect....he just seemed like a super cool dude and from that day on I've always pulled for him because he obviously had 2 bad days of fishing prior to getting eliminated and of all the things he could have been doing or places he could have was helping random young kids instead.

All in brother, the pro's are really disgusted and very disappointed on how they destroyed the lake .

That drives me crazy when locals encroach on the pros. Just like they did to Zaldain on Murray. If the pros are on the lake or chain, I go somewhere else.

An luckily the cold weather took out some of the invasive species

Me and my brother fished Monday thur Thursday of this week worst fishing we ever had there muddy water hard to find any clean water heard they were catching them in the river but we tired to stay out of those guys way so we never tired the rivers
