I bought a Mastercraft Flux Core MIG welder from Canadian Tire almost 2 years ago, it was on sale for about $200.00 I also bought some .030 Lincoln flux core wire at the same time. I also have an old Mastercraft stick welder I purchased many years ago. I find the MIG welder easier to use as I am just a novice wanna be welder😜 As far as I'm concerned, if it doesn't fall apart or break, you have a good weld. My welds aren't pretty, but they hold😁 Just like the saying goes, "A grinder and paint makes the welder I ain't" A flap disc makes the weld look pretty in a jiffy. Just wanted to let you know that if you have any stick welder and you want to tig weld with it you would need to buy a manual gas tig torch and instead of hooking the gas to the machine you would need to hook it to the torch which has a little on/off gas knob built into it. Just wanted to let you know that!

Thanks for the review Dony. I have looked into the MIG welder and no where do I see the input 115v amp requirement. Most of the 115 welders seem to require a 20 amp circuit to run these.
Do you have any information that might have been in the paperwork that came with the welder that might give me an idea of what the AC input circuit amp rating needs to be?
