This Can’t Be Happening - Time For A Rant In Thailand

In this video I have a little rant about an email that we received, from Agoda, saying that the hotel we booked in Bangkok was closed due to a Covid 19 outbreak and that our reservations were cancelled. Our first thought was, this can’t be happening again. Later in the morning, I meet up with a subscriber (Eric), who is in town scoping out the area, to see if Prachuap Khiri Khan is possible a retirement destination for him.

Always use credit card, the credit card company will usually offer some sort of protection in these kind of cases. Call your credit card company or if you have the option to initiate it online, request a chargeback. You’ll almost always get your money back.

I 100 % Agree. I just got home yesterday from a trip to the Philippines. Agoda failed to mention the AC accommodations, which is huge for me. I booked this trip straight through Delta, which I learned last time. :) I will post my review and see what Agodga responds with. As always, excellent content. I have to say that I enjoyed your rant which, in my opinion was completely justified. I hate it when compamy's get so big that they just can't be bothered to even be courteous to the customers who have put them where they are today. I’m on my way to Thailand now. Waiting for my connecting flight in Korea. On the flight from Vegas to Korea 99% of passengers did NOT wear a mask. There was no requirement. FINALLY!!
