I can support the author's review - I used a Pipo T8 phone which is 6.44" as well. Excellent for reading and media.

LOL I can manage a 7" tablet in most of my jeans pockets, this phone would be nothing :P It might be a bit of an issue for younger users though with smaller pockets...

I have been using Huawei MediaPad X2(7") for the last 6 months. I like it more than my Note 4.

The new Samsung Galaxy S8 will be 5.7" and 6.2" in size. Even with wrap around glass that's also pretty large.. Wrap around glass or smaller bezels aside...phones continue to get larger...the new norm increases in size.

I bought Mi Max and it's being delivered. I think Mi Max can never go into my Naked and Famous jeans! Maybe I can use my back pocket.

On my former company I was in the quality controll and we had tons of smartphones there to use it as test devices for the accesairs we where selling. At this point, the Huawei P8 max was great, I fucking loved the size of it. So because of my budget I'm going now with the Mi Max :)
Such a huge phone sure is not for anyone, but for me it's great. I got big pockets, I like to type on a large screen, Media is for sure better on a huge screen and since it's not possible for me to even use a 5" phone with one hand, I'm going big now ;)

Great quick review. Hope the global version support US band (B2, 4, 12). If so, I will buy it. Folks seem to forget that smaller screen ruin your vision. Casual browsing, gaming and watching YouTube video makes more sense on a bigger screen which are mainly use on modern smartphone. It's 2016 and not 2006. Looking forward to see how long the battery last.

any phone larger than 5" is too big for me. I have quite big hands, but I still cant use phones with larger screen comfortably with one hand. I hate using phones with two hands.

Great review (as always). But a little too big for me, I just know I'd either lose it or sit on it and hear that 'crack' as it snapped in half! I read somewhere (can't find it now), that Xiaomi have a new 5.7 inch phone due? Do you have any info, or thoughts on their existing 5.7 model? Thanks...
